Garage48 Food – greener food for a greener planet / 22-24 October 2021
Are you passionate about the more sustainable future of food? Garage48 Food is open for registration! 
WHAT?In co-organisation with Garage48, Estonian University of Life Sciences and Estonian Research Council, and partnership with Polli Horticultural Research Centre, TFTAK, TalTech, Ministry of Rural Affairs, and BioCC, a first in its kind hackathon of food technology will take place 22-24 October 2021 in Estonia, to find solutions to different challenges in the food industry.
WHO?Garage48 invites bio- and food technologists, food safety professionals, food policy experts, agriculturers, entrepreneurs, developers, marketers, business visionaries, and (UX/UI) designers to solve food systems and production challenges and contribute to developing more environmentally friendly and sustainable eating habits in food technology.

WHERE AND HOW?Garage48 Food will take place both as an ON-SITE (at the Estonian University of Life Sciences) and ONLINE event. On-site spots are limited.
For physical food development related solutions, teams have to create a short master plan in 48 hours, i.e. step-by-step of what they want to develop, what they need for it, the expected outcome, etc. together with a clickable prototype of their product (a mobile app, landing page).
For software development related solutions, teams have to develop a clickable prototype in 48 hours.
