Estonian HealthTech Week 2025

Estonian HealthTech Week 2025 brought together the brightest minds in digital health, biotechnology, and clinical innovation across Tallinn and Tartu from August 25 to 29. The program kicked off in Tallinn with a deep dive into Estonia’s e-health and governance ecosystem, featuring insights from Helmes, Tehnopol, TalTech, and the Estonian Academy of Sciences. Participants explored topics ranging from e-governance and digital health equity to the latest approaches in neurology, genomics, and personalised medicine.

In Tartu, the focus shifted to biotechnology and healthcare innovation, with visits to the Estonian Biobank, seminars at the University of Tartu Delta Centre, and showcases at Tartu University Hospital. Networking highlights included a vibrant DeepTech Pub Health Edition meetup and international conferences such as DTx New Nordics and AI in Clinical Diagnostics – From Innovation to Implementation. The week concluded with forward-looking discussions on the EU AI Act and export strategies for health and life science companies targeting the USA, UAE, and Germany.

In addition to local stakeholders, we were delighted to host 26 international guests from Sweden, Germany, Finland, Latvia, Singapore, France, Spain, Australia, Lithuania, Romania, and South Korea. Their presence enriched the dialogue, broadened perspectives, and opened new avenues for cross-border collaboration.
