In addition to strategic partnership creation through VALโ€™s SCALE programme and capital syndication with CVCs, her expertise is in aligning commercial models between countries to enable greater scale, stronger health economics, and much quicker adoption.
She is retained by various investment funds, governments, and international agencies; is the international partner for the American College of Cardiology’s MedAxiom; serves as a grant reviewer for the US Department of Defence; and is a frequent speaker at workshops and conferences. She has authored multiple studies and guidebooks commissioned by foreign trade agencies, including โ€œUS Health Economics: How the US Thinks About Value from Fee-for-Service to Value-Based Modelsโ€ for New Zealand, โ€œValue-Based Model Translation and Care in the USโ€, and โ€œCommercialisation and Procurement for US Hospitalsโ€ for Denmark.
She has worked on each side of the innovation ecosystem in the US, as well as Australia, Latin America, Canada, and Europe, and across startups, large public companies, academia, government, and investment. Dr. Khulood Alsayegh is a physician and healthcare policy expert with over 15 years of experience working in Ireland, the USA, GCC countries, and the United Arab Emirates. She leads the development of clinical standards and guidelines at the Dubai Health Authority and plays a key role in shaping healthcare regulations across the region.
She is the first certified lead assessor for AI ethics in the Middle East and Africa and serves on the UAEโ€™s National Committee for AI Regulation. Her work bridges technology, personalised medicine, and cross-sector innovation. Dr. Alsayegh is also a highly regarded international speaker.

As the Co-Founder and COO of Kalms Consulting, Dr. Stephan Binder is responsible for business development, as well as Kalms Consultingโ€™s networks and strategic partnerships.

He has almost 20 years of strategic and operational consulting experience, such as in the fields of medical devices, diagnostics, healthcare IT and bioscience; as well as in hospital workflows and efficiency. Along with strategic market access and reimbursement, key opinion leader networking and product launches, his experience includes technology transfer and applications for public grants (German and European).

Due to his work in project groups at various Hamburg hospitals (now Asklepios Group), the University of Hamburg, the CFEL (Center for Free-Electron Laser Science) and the constant global expansion of Kalms Consultingโ€™s international network, Stephan has profound international working experience with interdisciplinary teams.

Stephan has a Ph.D. degree in physics, in the fields of optics and bio-organic systems and a certificate in Medical Physics and Technology.
