Efthalia Arvaniti. The Programme Manager of SUBMARINER Network for Blue Growth since 2017. She closely manage our 38+ institutional members from the Baltic and often represents SUBMARINER and its accounts in events. Her expertise lies within blue bioeconomy sectors such as algae, blue biotech, shellfish, aquaculture, where she creates synergies and linkages, and matches people and ideas. At times, she also coordinate developing consortia in new European project proposals (Horizon, Interreg), and writes applications within blue bioeconomy/biotech topics. Finally, she manages SUBMARINER’s Blue Growth Accelerator (Alliance), its nine active cases and 70+ mentors and supporters.
Efthalia’s background lies in the intersection of chemical and bio engineering (PhD), environmental sciences (MSc) and biochemistry (BSc) and a professional certification as Innovator for Sustainability by Climate-KIC.
In the last 16 years she has worked with numerous cross-disciplinary and cross-functional teams in six European countries.

Donatas Jonikas, PhD. Startup Marketing Advisor. He was listed in ????????????????????’???? ???????????? ???????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????? ????????????????. He holds a PhD in Economics and a Master’s in Marketing Management with more than 14 years of experience in the field.  Donatas has developed and helped to implement winning marketing strategies for more than 50 businesses in different industries around the globe.

He is the author of Startup Evolution Curve, one of top5 best-selling books on Amazon in startup and business innovation categories. To write it, he did a global research surveying 1,447 startup founders and running close to 500 in-depth interviews on how to develop a startup business successfully. His marketing manual for startups was featured on FORBES and highly evaluated by more than 30 international experts, including CEOs of startup ecosystems, serial entrepreneurs, angel and VC investors. ‘Startup Evolution Curve’ became a textbook for California State University course “Technology and startups”.

Joost Haugmark. Nordic Innovators. Writes proposals for InnoBooster, Eurostars, and Accellerator programmes for our Danish and Norwegian clients. He also takes care of pre-proposals such as EUopSTART, funding fits and funding journeys.
He has had the secured +DKK 35,000,000 across a variety of innovative projects. Typically related to software, healthcare, aquaculture, agricultural and environmental novel solutions. As part of facilitating the proposals he proposes knowledge partners and new hire profiles.

 

 

Vitor Vieira is Doctorate in Medical Robotics through the University of Heidelberg (2010) and Electrotechnical Engineer (2004) by the University of Porto. He is experienced in image processing, technical and software development in particular in user interfaces and robotics. After the PhD he accumulated almost 6 years of experience as Software Development Manager with the medical device manufacturer Precisis AG, before co-founding his own company Inova DE in 2014, that later merged with Inova+.

In 2017 he won the award of entrepreneur of the year in “Services and Knowledge” category by the Fundation AEP and the high commissary for Portuguese immigrants (Prémio Elevar o seu Negócio 4.0) and is also a mentor at EIT Health and Alliance+.
