The 20th International Gene Forum 2021

In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, it is not possible to organize the traditional conference and celebrate all together the 20th Gene Forum. The Institute of Genomics of the University of Tartu is gladly announcing that this year’s conference will be held online! It provides an opportunity for much wider audience to listen to presentations by top scientist in the field of genomics.

Due to its interdisciplinary scope, the conference brings together 18 distinguished experts from Europe, the US and Israel for discussion of the progress in the field. This year’s presentations will cover themes from the use of genomic data in personalized medicine and applications in healthcare, pharmacogenomics, regulatory genomics and molecular functions, population genomics and human microbiome interactions. Given the situation in the world, this yearbs Gene Forum will also have a session on COVID-19 research.

The organizers hope that the forthcoming Gene Forum 2021 will create an inspiring environment and be professionally stimulating.

After the conference, registered participants will have access to the recordings of the presentations. An access link will be active 5 days. The registration will be open until the 23rd of August.

The 20th Gene Forum 2021 will be held on 25-27 August, 2021. Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the 20th Gene Forum will take place online via Zoom. Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants.

Conference Language

The official conference language is English.
