Mentor Club Afternoon with Dr Andrus Tasa

Next Mentor Club Afternoon will take place on Thursday, December 10th at 15:00 in Tartu Biotechnology Park.

The event is directed to enterprises and their employees active in the field of life science, but also to research and development institutions and their staff, students and others related interested in biotech business.

This time the mentor will be Dr Andrus Tasa.


Dr Andrus Tasa (PhD in microbiology) is experienced entrepreneur in the field of biotechnology. Currently he is the CEO of the Tartu Biotechnology Park and he belongs to the Council of Health Technologies Development and TBD Biodiscovery.

In 1998 – 2001 Andrus Tasa managed Department of Research Development of Tartu University. His responsibilities included development of research management, innovation management, foreign relations, intellectual property protection strategy of University and planning and management of large-scale development projects.

He has been active in business since 2001 and currently owns and chairs a variety of companies that operate in the field of real estate, business development, consultation, biotechnology, medicine and chemistry. Mentor Club discussions will run until 18.00. Then a small snack and beverage will be available and the communication will continue in free form as long as the story continues.
