Its mission is to bring together stakeholders and decision makers from all health related fields, i.e. academia, industry, politics, and civil society, to establish a unique and sustainable high-level forum and network. The World Health Summit is designed as an open and democratic forum, promoting thought leadership through academic input into the scientific and global health agenda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0The World Health Summit (WHS) 2014 will be held from\u00a0<b>October 19-22\u00a0<\/b>at the Federal Foreign Office, Berlin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\" style=\"color: #000000;\">The program will be structured by four main tracks:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"color: #000000;\">\n<li>Education and Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Research and Innovation<\/li>\n<li>Evidence to Policy<\/li>\n<li>Global Health for Development<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"bodytext\" style=\"color: #000000;\">Central topics will be (among others):<\/p>\n<ul style=\"color: #000000;\">\n<li>Climate Change and Health<\/li>\n<li>Universal Health Coverage<\/li>\n<li>Physical Activity for Health &amp; Healthy Ageing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"bodytext\" style=\"color: #000000;\">The annually held WHS has become the pre-eminent forum for addressing global health issues.
