TBP would like to welcome you to the webinar focused on life-science companies and start-ups.<\/p>\n

This is a series of webinars organized by different European technology parks and incubators supporting developing life-science enterprises.<\/p>\n

The webinar is taking place on 13th of March 4-5 PM Estonian, Finnish time\/3-4 PM Swedish, German etc time<\/strong> and is organized by the Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol. Topic:<\/strong> “How to Generate Valuable Business Ideas in Medicine and Biotechnology\u201d.<\/p>\n

Topic and presenters:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBusiness modelling for science based life-science projects\/startups\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

How do you transform research to innovation? How do you structure and test your business model? Life science business is generally characterized by complex markets, long developmental times and several pitfalls. The webinar will cover methodological concepts of how to structure precise business development where key commercial issues are mitigated early on.<\/p>\n

Examples from practice are from early stage life science projects.
\nThe speaker is Alexander Lagerman, who has a background in research-based entrepreneurship. Previously he was Project Manager for a pre-clinical pharmaceutical project, and currently he resides at Sahlgrenska Science Park in Gothenburg where he consults different researchers and entrepreneurs in business development. Furthermore, he is involved in an IT start-up called Dental24 which is an information portal for the profession in dental care.<\/p>\n

What is the format and platform of the webinar?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The format of the event will be an online webinar using IT platform GoToWebinar (http:\/\/www.gotomeeting.com\/fec\/webinar<\/a>). The webinar lasts about 60 minutes, presentation mixed with Q&A by the participants. The language of the webinar is English.<\/p>\n

The webinars are free of charge for Tehnopol and Tartu Biotechnology Park client companies, for others 10 EUR +VAT per participant.<\/p>\n
