Jan-Philipp<\/span> Beck<\/span><\/strong> is a partner in the Munich office of the management consulting firm Vintura<\/strong>. He supports various stakeholders in the healthcare sector in bringing innovations to patients more quickly. Previously, he was with EIT Health. Jan-Philipp<\/span> is a graduate of Eberhard Karls University in T\u00fcbingen and initially worked at the Schwarzkopf Foundation in Berlin, as well as at Deloitte and EY.<\/p>\n

Sven Parkel<\/strong> is General Manager of the Tartu Biotechnology Park (TBP). His work in TBP supports local businesses and startups in health tech, biotechnology and other areas offering opportunities through project funding through the EU and business development in an incubation program.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Karl Henrik Peterson<\/strong><\/b> has been a member of the Health Insurance Fund’s Board and Head of Digital since August 2018. Karl has previously worked in banking and information technology and has detailed knowledge of banking, finance and information technology, from the role of a specialist to that of a senior manager. Karl has experience in managing large international projects, the benefits and pains of globalisation and implementing major changes in organisations. In healthcare, he sees great potential in innovation through engaging people, changing the way we work, re-using what we have done and focusing on core values.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Anna-Liisa Kubo<\/strong> is the founder and Chief Innovation Officer at Nanordica Medical.<\/strong> Anna-Liisa has over 20 years experience in basic research and in research and development. She has experience in bringing products from lab to the market and conducting activities for research intensive enterprise. At Nanordica Medical she leads innovation and grant writing and has lead Nanordica Medical to several prestigious fundings from Enterprise Estonia and the European Union. The innovation of Nanordica Medical in wound care has gained numerous recognised awards. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Katrina Laks<\/strong> is the CEO and co-founder of Migrevention<\/strong>, the first digital headache clinic in the world. Katrina founded Migrevention with top Estonian headache specialists to empower more than 1 billion people suffering under migraines to take control over their health and regain their life quality. Katrina\u2019s thrive to create leading digital health innovation to support migraine patients globally has helped Migrevention to become one of the fastest growing digital health companies of the Baltic region. Katrina has a Master of Science degree in Genetic Engineering and she is PhD candidate in Chemistry and Genetic Engineering in Tallinn University of Technology. Prior to founding Migrevention, Katrina put her heart into finding novel biochemical biomarkers for female infertility.
\nKatrina is a passionate migraine and headache patient advocate putting part of her energy in educating society about the life-long disease and the needs of people living with it. Katrina is also the founding board member and spokesperson of Estonian Migraine and Headache Patients Association staying in front of patient rights to get evidence-based knowledge and up-to-date treatment. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Jaanika Merilo<\/strong> has over 25 years of technology and digital transformation including 10 years in eHelath. Since 2015 Jaanika has been one of the drivers of digital Ukraine, being nominated in 2015 by Google and Financial Times in the list of NE100 of \u201cInnovators whose innovations change the world for better\u201d and having received the \u201cBest City Digital Transformation Award\u201d in Barcelona Smart City World EXPO. From 2015-2021 Jaanika was active Deputy Mayor of Dnipro and advisor to two Ministers of Infrastructure of Ukraine. Since 2019 Jaanika has been the Advisor to the Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and has been  with the Ministry of Social Affairs of Estonia since 2023, currently serving as Head of Digital Health and Care. Jaanika has Master’s degrees from the University of Cumbria, and Rome Business School \/ University of Valencia in eHealth Management.<\/p>\n
