The second international\u00a0Life Sciences Baltics 2014 forum to be held in Vilnius on September 10-12<\/b>\u00a0will be aimed at enhancing an international cooperation between business and science in the higher value-added life sciences sector. At this forum, the world-famous representatives of the sector\u2019s academic institutions and business enterprises will share their ideas about regenerative medicine, clinical studies, commercialisation as well as investment attraction. At the forum insights and experience in the field will be shared by representatives of Pfizer, General Electric Healthcare Sciences, the Japanese Science and Technology Agency, the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), Israel\u2019s Weizmann Institute, and other institutions and companies of this viable sector.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0

Life Sciences Baltics 2014 is the biggest international biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical devices and equipment forum in the Baltic States which brings together life sciences experts from more than 30 countries. By encouraging the exchange of ideas, partnership and progress, the event gives an opportunity for Baltic scientists and entrepreneurs to share ideas, present their achievements, and get acquainted with the latest life sciences developments. Lithuanian Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevi\u010dius, who is the official patron of Life Sciences Baltics 2014, says the forum is a great opportunity to present the potential of the Baltic life sciences sector. \u201cThe forum is a meeting place for top tier managers and scientists from sector\u2019s leading countries \u2013 the USA, Israel, Switzerland, Japan and Germany. Lithuanians have gained a reputation as reliable providers of quality scientific research and services in the field of life sciences.
